Bihar Nurses Registration Council: Admission, Syllabus, Fee Structure

Nursing is a healthcare profession dedicated to assisting individuals, families, and communities in achieving, maintaining, or regaining maximum health and quality of life.

Nurses collaborate with physicians, therapists, the patient, the patient’s family, and other team members to design a plan of care that focuses on treating illness to enhance the quality of life. Advanced practice nurses, such as clinical nurse specialists and nurse practitioners, diagnose health conditions and prescribe drugs and other therapies in the United States and the United Kingdom, depending on state restrictions.

Nurses may assist other members of a multidisciplinary health care team, such as therapists, medical practitioners, and nutritionists, in coordinating patient care. Nurses provide treatment both in collaboration with other experts, such as physicians and on their own as nursing professionals.

The GNM curriculum is designed to enable general nurses to work effectively as members of the health care team and to manage competencies in both hospitals and other organizations.
