The Chhattisgarh Nurses Registration Council is a self-governing agency that reports to the state’s Health and Family Welfare Department.
The Chhattisgarh Nurses Registration Council took effect on May 21, 2003. Prior to this time, the State’s trained nurses were registered with the Mahakhoushal Nurses Registration Council. The CHHATTISGARH UPCHARIKA, PRASAVIKA, SAHAI UPCHARIKA-PRASAVIKA TATHA SWASTHYA PARIDARSHAK REGISTRIKARAN ADHINIYAM began enrolling trained nurses in 1972. An Act to consolidate the laws of Chhattisgarh relating to the registration of nurses, midwives, auxiliary nurse-midwives, and health visitors, and to provide for the establishment of the Nurses Registration Council for the State.
In the year 2003, it was chaired by the Director of Health Services. This council is the examination body for diploma training courses, as well as the registration of nursing staff (from ANM, GNM, and B.Sc&M.Sc Nurses).
Chhattisgarh Nurses Council Registration
- After verifying the training period, the form must be delivered by the Head of Training Centre, who must sign and seal it.
- In each case, the training term must be completed; otherwise, the form will be canceled.
- Each application form must be accompanied by four passport-size photographs of the applicant’s uniform that have been legally attested by a Gazette Officer and pasted on the form.
- Visit the website www.cgnrc.org to see the amount of fees that can be paid online.
- If the form is not submitted within three months of the examination result, a fee of Rs. 100/– will be imposed.

- Original testimonial copies Testifying persons’ names, addresses, and titles, as well as the date the testimony was issued.
- Information on registering with the Raipur-based Chhattisgarh Nurses Registration Council or any other council.
- Name of the Nurses Council where you were previously registered, as well as the category and date of registration.
