Completion Of The Apnc Under The Current Registrarship

Since its inception in January 2012 and publication in the official gazette of the government on March 17, 2012, APNC has operated with a negative balance. However, there was no look, and the APNC staff and Registrar decided to carry out the provision of the APNC Act 2011 in its entirety. After January 2012, some of the achievements were made.

E 2013 as per sec. (30) APNC Act: (Repeal and saving.)

  • Under the Indian Nursing Council, APNC has launched an Aadhar-based biometric authentication system (online nurses’ registration and tracking system).
  • Existing nursing cadres’ terminology has been successfully modified, as seen by the following: MED/NS/3/2012 pt-II MED/NS/3/2012 pt-II MED/NS/3/2012 Nursing Officer vs. Staff Nurse, Senior Nursing Officer vs. Ward Sister, Assistant Nursing Superintendent vs. Assistant Matron, Public Health Nursing Officer vs. Public Health Nurse, District Public Health Nursing Officer vs. District Public Health Nurse, and Tutor vs. Sister Tutor on the 16th of January, 2019.
  • U/S (16) 29 Nos. ANM & 67 Nos. RNRM from its register maintained u/s (13) APNC Act. 2011 has been revoked in its real meaning of application of APNC Act. 2011.
  • A total of four RNRM practice licenses have been suspended under Section 19(c) for dual registration and professional misconduct.
  • Unrecognized Nursing Institutes in the State of AP were eradicated.
  • On June 28, 2013, we took over all approved nursing institutes from the Assam Nurse Midwives and Health Visitor Council.
  • In 2013, an unidentified course provided at RKM was halted because it violated INC standards.
  • Stop hiring candidates who graduated from unrecognized institutes in 2013.
  • Stopped unchecked student admissions in nursing schools, both public and private, in 2014.
  • In Gauhati High Court, Itanagar Permanent Bench, 2014, won a case filed by unrecognized candidates.
  • Shoulder the responsibility of administering examinations twice a year for 7 ANM schools and 6 GNM schools in Arunachal Pradesh that are accredited by INC and APNC.
  • APNC’s test and examination of student nurses who graduated from nursing institutes in Arunachal, as well as tests and examinations conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Nursing Council (APNC) under section 17 of the Arunachal Pradesh Nursing Council Act, 2011.
  • Regularly holding council meetings twice a year and an extraordinary meeting u/s (18) APNC Act. 2011 and having concluded the 11th Board meeting to date.
  • u/s (18) APNC Act. 2011, entering the names of nurses working in both government and private hospitals in Arunachal Pradesh in the registers that are already registered with other nursing councils.
  • In 2013 and 2014, I led two seminars on the revised ANM and GNM curricula.
  • In 2014 and 2015, an awareness camp on the APNC Act 2011 was held in the state capital, Aalo, Ziro, and Pasighat.
  • Publication of APNC Act booklets and brochures in 2011.
  • Start the process of issuing a notification enabling DMOs under Section 26 of the APNC Act in 2011.
  • Participated actively in the establishment of three government-run ANM schools and three government-run GNM schools in the state.
  • Actively pursuing the establishment of a 6-month promotional training center for senior ANM in Doimukh.
  • In 2015, I conducted teacher training on teaching methodology.
  • In 2015, we married one fictitious nurse.
  • Examine and recommend the necessity for a nurse in ten hospitals in the capital complex, including public and private.
  • A historic decision by all councils to allow candidates who graduated from an unrecognized nursing institute before to or during 2012 to take a special test.
  • Dismantle distance education systems that do not follow INC guidelines.
  • Finally, beginning November 2016, a thorough weeding out of fraud and phoney nurses has been underway. In October of 2016, the 59 RNRM and 30 ANM licenses were revoked. In the following, two to three months, more fraud nurses will be removed from the APNC.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

Eligibility Criteria for ANM programme as per the APNC

  • The minimal educational criteria are a 10+2 in Arts or Science from a recognised Board with an aggregate of 40%.
  • Students passed the National Institute of Open Schools’ 10+2 Arts or Science test.
  • The applicant must be 17 years old on or before December 31st of the year in which admission is sought.
  • The maximum age for admittance is 35 years old.
  • Medically, the student must be in good health.
  • Once a year, a student will be admitted.
  • Admission is only open to students who are residents of the state (As per the 7th Council Meeting of APNC)

The INC adopted by APNC established eligibility conditions for the B.Sc (N) programme.

  • The applicant must be 17 years old on December 31st of the year in which admission is sought.
  • Minimum education: AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other similar board 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) and English Core/English Elective with the aggregate of 45 percent marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other comparable board.
  • Medically, the student must be in good health.
  • Students that received a 45 percent in the National Institute of Open School’s 10+2 Science examination.
  • Once a year, a student will be admitted.

According to the INC, the following are the eligibility requirements for the M.Sc.(N) programme

  • Any State Nursing Registration Council requires the candidate to be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent.
  • Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55 percent aggregate marks is the minimum educational criteria.
  • Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is required of the candidate.
  • After completing a Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme, you must have at least one year of work experience. Prior to or after completing a Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme, you must have at least one year of work experience.
