PM KISAN YOJANA

When the PM Kisan scheme was launched on 24 February 2019, its benefit was limited to small and marginal farmers holding up to 2 hectares only. The scheme was subsequently amended on 1 June 2019 and extended to all farmer households, irrespective of the size of their holdings. That is, now a farmer with how many hectares of land can apply to get benefits under the scheme. The benefit under the scheme is Rs 6000 per family per annum, which is available in three installments of Rs 2000 each. Farmers who pay income tax can not benefit from this scheme. Till now 8 installments have been deposited into the account of farmers now everyone is waiting for the 9th installment of the scheme.

PM Kisan Yojana is available for farmers under this scheme farmers get 6000 rupees per year from the government in DBT (Direct Bank Transfer) into their account in the form of three installments of 2000 rupees. The government has deposited 8 installments of this scheme into the account of farmers Farmers are waiting for the 9th installment to be deposited into their accounts. Well, there is good news for all of the government is going to deposit the 9th installment into their accounts soon. Though government never discloses the dates when they are going to deposit the money it is expected to be deposited in August. So you can check our website for any updates.

How to register for the scheme

To register for the scheme follow the below steps:

  • Visit the official website of PM Kisan Yojana and go to the Farmers corner.
  • Enter your aadhar card details and captcha code, you will get an application form.
  • Fill out the application form such as your personal details and agriculture details.
  • Now submit the application.

Note:- you can register by yourself or visit the nearest common service center CSC. Beware of the fraudulent and commission agents.

How to check your name in the beneficiary list

  • Visit pmkisan.gov.in.
  • On the website, click the menu bar and go to ‘Farmer Corner’.
  • Look for the Beneficiary List / Beneficiary List tab and open it.
  • Enter your state, district, sub-district, block and village details.
  • You will get a repot click on Report, after which you will get the information.
  • The names of the farmers who have been given the benefit of this scheme by the government can also be seen state/district wise/tehsil/village wise.

Who can get benefits of the scheme

Before only people with 2 hectares of land were eligible to get the benefits of the scheme. But now the government has changed it from now on irrespective of the land amount of land you have you can get benefits of this scheme. Any person with any kind of agricultural land rural or urban will get 6000 rupees into their account in three installments of 2000 rupees.

Who cannot get the benefits

  • People who pay income tax on agriculture.
  • Someone who is a state or center government employee.
  • Any former elected representatives of the government MLC, Ministers.
  • Doctors, Engineers, Architect, lawyers even in the case of them doing any kind of agriculture activities.
  • Agriculture land is used for nonagricultural activities.
  • If you are leasing the land.
  • Land not in use for agriculture.
  • If the land is registered under more than one family, only one single entitled family will get the benefits.
