The date of birth of Indians travelling overseas will now be properly written in their CoWin Vaccine International Travel Certificate. The traveler’s date of birth will be in accordance with the World Health Organization’s standard format, as those who have received both doses of COVID-19 vaccine and intend to travel to foreign countries will have a CoWin vaccination certificate with their full date of birth available.
The date of birth on the cowin international travel certificate will be in the format “yyyy-mm-dd” (Year-Month-Day), as per the World Health Organization’s requirements for foreign travellers.

As we all know, the world is slowly opening up to commerce and tourism, and countries are working hard to ensure that foreign tourists may travel without stress. According to WHO regulations, this new feature and date of birth format for overseas passengers will be “yyyy-mm-dd”.
To update their immunisation certificate in Cowin and download a new certificate, every traveler heading overseas will have to fill out the form according to the date of birth listed in their passport. Currently, only the year of birth is collected, which is used to determine a person’s age on a certificate.
Covid 19 Vaccine International Travel Certificate
The Cowin international travel certificate has undergone a substantial modification, with those who have received both doses of corona vaccine and choose to go abroad having their entire date of birth inscribed on their certificates. It will be in the year-month-day (yyyy-mm-dd) format, as recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) for foreign visitors.
However, Indian travellers who receive both doses of covishield would be required to stay in isolation in the UK for ten days. Following the addition of covishield to the list, the United Kingdom confirmed that the vaccine’s inclusion will have no impact on the restrictions governing Indian tourists.
